This site studies the experiences of the Polish, Czechoslovak, Free French, Norwegian, Dutch and Belgian air forces which regrouped in Britain during the summer of 1940 after the collapse of France. The Czechoslovak Air Force in Britain, 1940-1945 is a Ph.D thesis which further extends and analyses the complexities of life in exile for one particular contingent.
